Description:

This study is the result of months of analysis, discussion and drafting by a group of top security policy experts concerned with the preeminent totalitarian threat of our time: the legal-political-military doctrine known within Islam as "shariah." It is designed to provide a comprehensive and articulate "second opinion" on the official characterizations and assessments of this threat as put forth by the United States government. The authors, under the sponsorship of the Center for Security Policy, have modeled this work on an earlier "exercise in competitive analysis" which came to be known as the "Team B" Report. The present Team B II report is based entirely on unclassified, readily available sources. As with the original Team B analysis, however, this study challenges the assumptions underpinning the official line in the conflict with today's totalitarian threat, which is currently euphemistically described as "violent extremism," and the policies of co-existence, accommodation and submission that are rooted in those assumptions.

5Mandatory Reading to understand Jihad in AmericaOct 15, 2010
By H. North
This is the seminal work that our nation needs. There is finally a single all-encompassing reference that details the modern Jihad threat to the Dar Al Harb (the "house of war"). It outlines the master plan being carried out by the Muslim Brotherhood to impose Shariah Law on the United States, and those people in our own government that are not only ignoring the threat, but in some cases are actually supporting the destruction of the U.S. Consitution by abdicating their professional duty to develop an appropriate national security response.

It clarifies how Islam is NOT just a religion, but an entire way of life that includes its own codified law called Shariah, which is meant to rule over the entire world and be enforced against ALL people, not just Muslims. It identifies how Shariah Law contradicts many of the protections in the Bill of Rights, and especially women's rights (specifically, such behavior as underage and forced marriages, honor killing, female genital mutilation, polygamy, and domestic abuse including marital rape--where's the National Organization for Women (NOW) when you need them?). It clarifies how senior government officials, as well as generals and admirals in the military, are failing their oath to protect and defend the Constitution. It highlights why anyone supporting Shariah in the United States is commiting sedition and treason. It identifies how the Muslim Brotherhood are secretly waging a "stealth Jihad" through scores of front organizations.

The West is led to believe that Jihad is nothing more than an "inner struggle" while there are in fact four types of Jihad: of the heart, the tongue, the pen, and the sword. The Muslim Brotherhood's plan is to settle in the West to conduct a "grand Jihad in eliminating the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house BY THEIR HANDS". Through its front organizations like the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Pulbic Affairs Council (MPAC), as well as dozens of others, the Muslim Brotherhood is twisting the protections of our own Constitution and using them to protect themselves behind the First Amendment while waging a very effective propaganda campaign. Ignorant Americans, and especially high-ranking government officials, are then duped into supporting the Muslim Brotherhood's efforts falsely believeing they are supporting "religious tolerance".

What many Westerners have been falsely led to believe is that "Islam is a religion of peace" when it is much more than just a religion, and it's not peaceful. This is NOT a First Amendment issue. Article 6 of the Constitution states that the Consitution shall be the law of the land. Any efforts to replace the Consitution with Shariah or any other foreign laws is seditious and treasonous. This reference outlines how current laws that were used against other seditous groups like communists during the Cold War can be applied as tools to protect our nation against Shariah.

Don't take my word for it. Read the Koran AFTER applying the Doctrine of Abrogation to its peaceful verses. And read this carefully prepared and heavily annotated analysis. Only then can one understand the true intent of Islam. To speak about Islam without having done the homework only breeds further ignorance. Prepare to become angry.

5An astonishing readNov 14, 2010
By M. Kunze "M.Kunze"
For some time now, the topics "Islam" and "Shariah", and similar terms have come up quite a lot not just in the media, but in electoral campaigns as well. Some preach that islam is quote: "A religion of peace", whilst others disagree with this notion.

And since these topics have crept up everywhere, both supporters and opponents of Shariah in particular, or Islam in general, have often accused the other side of lying, of manipulation and distoring the truth.

I myself have read a few books on the issue, and in both cases was dissapointed in finding general rants against the other side for not seeing the errors in their view.

However, I am very pleased to find this book refreshingly well written. It never gets boring, but is not written in obvious attention-grabbing language. It is mostly objective, and where needed, references are cited (which is a feature all too lacking in most books nowadays).

One may argue that the writers of the book are over-paranoid and exagerating when they name it "The threat", but the extensive research into the matter suggests that the accusations against the muslim brotherhood, which has its activies heavily analyzed here, are indeed valid. Without having to resort to petty namecalling or pseudo-theologist arguments, the book covers recent as well as past events. It argues against the engagement and adoptment to Shariah.

There are some who have claimed to me that this book was "racist", or "character-assasinating" all muslims and so on. Nothing could be further from the truth. The criticism and warning in this book is issued in respect to an ideologoy, in this case a religious ideology, and certain organizations following this religious ideology. Claiming that criticism of such systems or of organizations pursuing goals towards said system is a distortion of the word in the for one, and an admission of not having read the book at all.

Though I disagree with some of the authors in many issues, I cannot but admit that I have to agree with them on the points raised in this book.

It is available as a free download, but I recommend the purchase, since this is a book which really should be in more bookshelves than it currently is.

5Finally, the truth about IslamismOct 30, 2010
By William A. Mayer
This work should be considered the starting point for unravelling the double-talk coming out of the alphabet soup American Islamist groups such as CAIR, ISNA, NAIT, MSA and the rest.

This society and the West in general had better recognize the threat posed by the stealth jihadists, who feign moderation but at every opportunity attempt to enforce Shari'a compliance.

The work of Mr. Gaffney and his associates, in putting together this study is such a breath of fresh air that it should be required reading by the incoming Congress, which will hopefully jettison the destructive approach to Islamism that this administration has adopted.

When you hear charges of Islamophobia in the West, it simply means that someone has had the courage to tell the truth.

5The single most important report of the decadeNov 12, 2010
By Mladen Andrijasevic
I am probably an idealist to think that ours is a rational civilization and that once presented with all the facts most of the people would think rationally. This is why I believe that this book is the single most important book of the decade, and that once the facts are known people will pause and think and reassess what America's priorities should be.

Having read some three dozen books on Islam since 9/11, I was pleasantly surprised how this report managed in one volume to condense all the crucial relevant for us information on Islam I had learned in the last 9 years from various sources. The report builds an air tight case because it uses extensive quotes from the original Muslim sources as well as the writings of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and John Quincy Adams. No American will remain indifferent once he or she has read the report.

Almost all of the information presented in the report has been available on line for a long time, yet most people were either reluctant to look into this quite easily accessible information, did not know where to look or did not know its significance. This is now no longer the case since a plethora of security experts, among whom are former Director of CIA and a former Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet, have put their names behind this report. This is the report you should read and it carries weight.

The report makes the point that it is the US President's constitutional duty to understand the threat: "It is, therefore, fair to ask of U.S. officials with national security responsibilities whether the failure to know an enemy violates not only professional rules of competency but their solemn oath of office? After all, if an officeholder must "protect and defend against all enemies" (N.B. the Constitution uses the word "enemy," not "violent extremists"), this implies that he has to know all enemies, or at least undertake the due diligence effort to learn about them. "

Apparently, President Obama has not read the report else he would not have continued with his appeasement policies which run counter to what the report shows is detrimental to US interests.

My only critical suggestion about the report is that it does not put sufficient emphasis on the ineffectiveness of the doctrine of mutual assured destruction [MAD] when Iran is concerned, the point that a few lone individuals like Bernard Lewis, Harold Rhode, John Bolton and Reza Kahlili have tried to bring everybody's attention to.

I cannot stress enough the importance of this book. Apart from a preemptive Israeli military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, this report is my only hope and evidence that America and the West will have the will to defend our civilization. Since the report is on line and available to everybody, Americans have a chance to understand the threat to their country and to understand the dire consequences of electing a president who does not.

Armed with the knowledge from the report, the present "peace processing" in the Israeli Palestinian conflict looks like a bad joke and it is obvious that the current Western politicians will be judged by history as ignorant clowns, accountable to no one for their ignorance, who like Sisyphus kept repeating the same errors time and again because of it.

It is almost grotesque that our lives in the Middle East had for years depended on politicians and media who had refused to educate themselves. From now on this report should become a conditio sine qua non of every politician, diplomat or journalist that has anything to do with the Middle East.

5Sharia The Threat To AmericaJan 09, 2011
By RAZAP1
Fantastic read for anyone concerned about Islamic radicalizion inside the USA. The list of defense department contributors is most impressive. I highly appreciate The Center For Security Policy's attention to detail and providing accurate backup with weblinks for further research. No fluff, nothing but accurate information cover to cover. This indeed is the book islamists do not want you to read. Information regarding The Holyland Trial and the uncharged co-conspiritors many of which are still operating here is most baffling along with domestic Islamic Organizations connected to offshore radicals. A major concern is the documented infiltration of radicals in the government and govt connected corporations and the media. Definately a must read. Anyone who rates this low is definately attempting to protect islamists by trying to sway you from not purchasing this book. Don't be fooled it's a five star masterpiece.
