Great Study Guide, Real Score BoosterDec 23, 2011

The book was easy to read and I felt Mike Myers covered the material well. I watched the videos on Professor Messer's website, studied this book along with his windows 7 companion, and almost got a perfect score on the A+. Too bad he doesn't have a book for the 70-680. I would like to add I have 10+ years in PC support and there were still several questions I would have not known or ever needed to know on the A+ exam. I simply wanted to apply for a new job and it required 2 certifications along with a degree and experience. If you find yourself in the same situation you would be crazy not to study. Remember, Mike Myer's and Professor Messer are your friends. :)

I must if your taking A+ Examinations in 2012. Mike Myers ALL-IN-ONE does not feature much about Windows 7 this is why he has made another book about 150 pages on all you need to know about Windows 7,Since the exams are updated with Windows 7 questions.
The Sybex book did me no good.If you are reading the All-In-One book,you must get this as well.Your chances on passing the exams are very high with this book & All-In-One book.Mike Myers did a great job for releasing this windows 7 book.
My opinion on Mike Myers Windows 7 Book & other Windows 7 books:
- Much understandable than Windows 7 for dummies book.
- Windows 7 Inside Out book is not a bad book at all but does not teach about what A+ Exams will have.
- Windows 7 Missing Manual was an okay book & not bad either.
This book did me good & will you do good for the A+ Exams just what you need to know about Windows 7.
After you finish the All-In-One book I suggest you get this book & read it & this book also features questions & answers in the end & after every chapter to help you pass the A+ Exams regarding Windows 7.
You can pass the A+ Exams!

The best option for a review book. Straight and easy to understand. would use it again. He lays the expectations you should have and employers will have as well as a guideline for how to study for the exam and prep for the test.

I bought this to complement my earlier purchase of Meyers' A+ guide. Being unfamiliar with Windows 7 (okay I knew NOTHING about it), I decided this should be a serious part of the study before I take the test. I was fascinated enough that I decided to add Windows 7 as a boot option to my "study" laptop.
I like Meyers' approach and writing style, and fully endorse his books for A+. Have not taken the test yet, but if I don't pass, I can't blame it on his study materials.
