 Boring Text and Doesn't Come with Access CodeDec 19, 2010

This book was a disappointment. It could have been so much more interesting. The cases were good, some of the diagrams and photos were good, but too much of the text was poorly written.
Also, the Amazon version, even though it's a New book, doesn't come with the access code that allows you to supplement the book with online activities and additional information.

This was used as a text book for an Australian university and it was incredibly handy! Really helps understand the basic principles behind forensic science! There are multiple case studies that relate to each aspect the book talks about, e.g fingerprinting, physical evidence ETC... Very easy to read and enjoyable! A must have for beginners!

I purchased this book and anticipated its delivery. Once I received it, I was sorry I bought it. It suppose to come with a CD and in order to go into the websites the book suggests, you need a access codes. Amazon does not give you the access codes to access these websites, so I'm stuck with just the book. I feel cheated. In my opinion, do not waste your money on this book. It lacks too many vital components.
