Passed the exam primarily with just this bookNov 03, 2010

I heard that the official certification guide from Cisco Press has a lot of errors, so I went with this book instead. I used Todd's CCNA Fast Pass guide before so I knew what to expect. This book isn't without its share of typos and errata either, but I thought it was well-written overall. There are some errors that haven't been corrected in the errata yet, but they are generally far and few in between.
The accompanying CD has a self-test engine which is mostly just a re-hash of the exam questions from the end of each chapter, but it certainly does help to reinforce the material. In addition, there are a couple of bonus exams. It would be better if the question pool was much larger, however.
I spent a solid month going through this book (along with some other materials) and I managed to pass the exam, although I wasn't a complete newcomer to 802.11 and already had familiarity with 802.1X and 802.11i which helped quite a bit. I got quite a bit out of this book though as it was my main study source, so I can definitely recommend it.

This is the second book I have read cover to cover from Todd. If you are reading other books to study for the CCNA Wireless, be prepared to take it more than once. Do yourself a favor and buy this one instead, it will save you $150.00. Do yourself a bigger favor and attend his bootcamp. Four days in his bootcamp of hard reading and studying, and I scored a 956...tough to beat that. I would love to see a CCNP wireless book by Todd, but I'm not so sure that one is coming.

9 months ago, took the ccna-wireless class from a IT training company (Not Globalnettraining), took the Cisco 640-721- failed. Bought Todd Lammle's CCNA-Wireless Study guide on 7/27/10, almost aced the Cisco 640-721 exam on 8/2/10!

I took the Wireless Course through Globalnet training in October. I'm telling you this is the only book that will get you through it. Todd is spot on on all subject matter in this book. After this book I scored a 940 on Cisco's test. The question's I did miss was do to sheer ignorance on my part.Good luck to the rest of you who choose Cisco Press!

After attending a bootcamp for my CCNA three years ago and passing my CCNA exam, I looked to continue my Cisco knowledge and certifications by going for my CCNA Wireless. Originally I had tried to prepare with the Cisco Press CCNA Wireless book for self study and felt that it did not adequately prepare me for the exam. Once Todd's book became available I got a copy and retook the exam and passed with flying colors. I definitely recommend the Lammle CCNA Wireless exam guide to anyone who is looking to obtain their CCNA Wirelss credentials.
